Requirements:

• Possess a recognized Degree in a relevant field of Engineering
• Min 8 years of design experience in Oil and Gas or Petrochemical industries in relevant disciplines.
• Well versed with various software engineering tools such as HYSIS , PIPESIM, FLARENET, PRO II(Process), SACS, SESAM (Civil & Structural) AUTOPIPE (Mechanical & Piping), EDSA (Electrical, Instruments).
• Familiar with PTS, DEP, SES, API, BS, NFPA, ASME, ANSI, ASTM,IEC, NEC, AISC, NACE etc.
• Team players with good communication & strong analytical skills and knowledge of the use of analytical tools

Job Vacancy: Senior Piping Engineer at JGC Singapore Pte Ltd

Due to our expansion regionally, JGC Singapore Pte Ltd, an established EPC contractor in the Oil & Gas / Petrochemical Industry, invites suitable candidates with relevant qualifications and experiences in to take on the challenges in a conducive and vibrant work environment.

Senior Piping Engineer
(Johor)

Responsibilities:

• To generate/check/review Equipment Layout, Piping General Arrangement in PDMS/PDS/Auto CAD
• To execute/review flexibility stress analysis if applicable
• To produce/check piping ISOs in Auto CAD or extract piping ISOs including piping support from PDMS/PDS model
• To execute/check the piping material take-off including all the piping and fittings, insulation, painting, piping, piping support etc
• Co-ordinate with clients, Project Team, other discipline engineers, sub-contractors and vendors
• provide leadership, technical support and mentoring service towards Engineer/Junior Engineer

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Engineering (Petroleum/Oil/Gas), Machenical, Chemical or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of Equipment Layout, Piping General Arrangement in PDMS/PDS/Auto CAD
• Experience in working as Piping Layout Lead Designer
• Site exposure would be an advantage
• Excellent coordination skill with Project Manager Team, Process, Stress, Instrument discipline etc
• Knowledge of prevailing ASME, API, BS and NFPA codes
• Required language(s): English
• At least 5 year(s) of working experience in design of piping system in oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical industry.
• Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Engineering - Oil/Gas or equivalent.
• Job role in Supervisor/Team Lead or equivalent.
• 2 Full-Time positions available.
